Monthly Favorites: August

I know I'm late to this trend but I decided that It would be a good idea to start sharing with you my

MONTHLY FAVORITES!

Sometime during the first week of each month I will be making a list of things that I found useful or intriguing the previous month! The list could be bigger or smaller depending on my productivity level. This means that I could be mentioning from 5 up to 30+ different items.

As you can see from the picture below, this post is about my August favorites! So without any more hesitation, let's see what's on the list!

1. Favorite Book: Awakened (by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast)

This is the 8th book of the famous House Of Night series. For more information you can check out this Wikipedia page. I actually recommended the series to one of my closest friends and she loved it! She's currently reading the 4th book and heading for the 5th.

I read the first 7 books a few summers ago but I had to stop because my lifestyle became too busy. I came back to the 8th book in the beginning of July and by the beginning of the next month I had finished it and ordered the next one!


2. Favorite App: Clue - Period Tracker

If you keep forgetting when your next period is then this is the app you need! There are a lot of period trackers and calendars on Google Play Store but I chose this one simply because it's more aesthetically pleasing and detailed! 

You can mark specific "symptoms" such as mood, sleep, collection method, fluid, digestion and more! It also tells you when to expect your next PMS and your next Fertile Window!

3. Favorite Movie/Series: The Middle

'The Middle' began airing on Greek TV in the beginning of July but I discovered it a bit later on in the month. Needless to say I got very hooked on it and I watch it almost every day now! I'm sure you'll love it too if you enjoy sitcom / Family Comedy series.


4. Favorite Instagram Account: Alex Brooke

There's really not much to say about this girl. She's pretty, she's intelligent and her content is *bomb*. Plus, she recommends some great products in her posts so I believe her account is worth checking out!

5. Favorite Snack: Chips with Nutella

I know it seems like a strange combination but don't judge it till you try it! The saltiness of the chips combined with the sweet chocolate flavor makes quite a tasty treat!


6. Favorite YouTube channel: Matt and Amanda

This is definitely one of the cutest channels on the YT platform. It is actually the vlog channel of Amanda Faye and Matthew Fredrick, two married YouTubers who have their own individual channels as well.

They post new vlogs every single day so if you're looking for a quick little video to kill time I'd definitely recommend their channel to you.


7. Favorite Song: Boombayah - BlackPink

BlackPink's debut songs, Whistle and Boombayah were absolutely stunning. Their voices are incredible and they definitely do not look like a new band. But I mean, what do you expect after 6 years of training? They're literally singing-dancing machines!

8. Favorite Website/Blog: Bryn Donovan
 
If you need help writing your book, this is definitely one of the sites you should check out! Bryn posts her famous 'Master List of...' posts which have helped me so much with my writing. I would also like to buy her book soon (but only after finishing the HON series which I'm reading now hehee)

9. Favorite Game: Bag It

When I was younger and didn't have my own mobile phone, I would always ask my dad to download free games on his device. One of the first games I ever downloaded was "Bag It" (the Free edition). Lately, when I was looking around for any good games, I re-discovered it on the Google Play Store! 

Everything seemed like a flashback as I played through the levels and I have to say, I got so addicted to it! I would totally recommend this for people of all ages. And if you don't have the money to purchase the full version (which only costs like $2)  you can always get the free version!

Since I had no idea what to put on number 10 I'm just going to leave this list unfinished. I know, I know "If you want your blog to be professional blah blah blah" I get it. But as you can clearly see, I'm not a professional. At all.

I also wanted to include a little side note here. Please be patient with my posts. High school has just began for me and I might skip posting for a few weeks or even a month so I wanted to notify you in advance. I hope you understand. Until next time...
